چکیده
Deduce the approximate form of the current in a center-fed linear dipole antenna of half height h when excited by a voltage source V0e iωt across the antenna terminals, whose gap width d is small compared to h. From this, give an expression for the impedance of the antenna (whose real part is the so-called radiation resistance). You may assume that the antenna conductors have radius a small compared to the height h, and that they are perfect conductors.
